BENJAMIN B. BOYLES, DDS, FAGD

Welcome to Boyles Dental, where we’ve been providing complete dental care to Raleigh and surrounding communities since 2015—continuing the legacy of Dr. Mike Bolus, who cared for patients with excellence for over 40 years. As a North Carolina native and longtime Raleigh resident, I’m proud to serve my community by helping patients improve their dental health.

My Education and Experience

I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in both Communication Studies and Spanish. After spending three years working with Broadreach, where I taught SCUBA diving to students and led them through life-changing educational adventures in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Egypt, I began my formal dental education. In 2009, I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.

I continue to pursue continuing education, focusing on dental implants, restorative dentistry, CEREC same-day crowns, cosmetic dentistry, and comprehensive care to better serve my patients. In 2011, I received a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). Most recently, I received a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction achieved by less than 5% of dentists.

My Care Philosophy

My approach to dentistry emphasizes personalized, patient-centered care. We are a small but mighty office that will never prioritize office metrics or “the bottom line” over the needs and desires of our patients. I do not offer cookie-cutter solutions. I listen to my patients, answer questions, and discuss treatment options, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their dental health.

Putting My Philosophy Into Action

Outside of Boyles Dental, I carry my philosophy into the world through volunteer activities, providing quality dental care to those in need. I am proud to work with NC Donated Dental Services, NC Baptist Men’s Ministry, and Wake Smiles. There is no greater reward than bringing pain relief and restoring dental health to someone who has been suffering and being rewarded with a grateful smile.

My Story

I’m proud to be from North Carolina, where I was raised in a supportive family that valued hard work and service to others. I love what I do, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for patients every day and give back to the community that has shaped me.

My wife, Lisa, and I are raising our two children here in Raleigh, where we’re active members of St. Michael’s Church and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy barbecuing and cheering on my favorite college teams—Go Tar Heels!
